A friend of mine just got back from japan, he stayed there for a few months and now he feels like a stranger in his own land. He feels kind of homesick…
And I actually know what he means. It’s not that I don’t love my country, I do, and very much, but sometimes, you feel like you belong somewhere else. Three years ago I traveled to Vancouver for a two month seminary… and then the magic happened.
I woke up the first morning feeling like home, from my window I could see the mountains, and squirrels jumping across the street. Everyday was wonderful. I used to talk to other girls and some boys who told me that they missed their homes very much, but I… I felt complete. It was glorious to me to stand by the beach and see Stanley Park, just right there a huge mass of green standing by the sea. I loved the rainy days, I treasure them in my heart, the sound of the non stopping storms. The cold clean air, the breeze in my face. I fell madly in love with Vancouver, and for greater reasons I had to come back.
I’m “home” now waiting for the day that my heart that I can truly feel like home… This first time was Vancouver, but I expect that next time could be anywhere else…

It’s kind of one of those days when you feel that there’s a void growing inside. When you feel in love, and it doesn’t really mean that you love somebody. When it takes a long time to really listen to your playlist, when it’s just a sound making company. When it doesn’t really matter how much company do you have, you still feel alone. Like the walls around just grow bigger and bigger, and the lights go down. When it feels like a storm coming and there’s sunshine and rainbows round everyone else… waiting for a personal sunrise…
